The Aloha Zen Academy of Martial Arts (AZAMA) is the newest full-time Martial Arts Studio on the windward side of Island of Oahu, Hawaii. Established in 2010, the academy believes in traditional values.  They teach the classical art of Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan (The American School of the Way of the Empty Hand Defense) founded by Grandmaster Charles J. Ferraro.  Training in Tang Soo Do also integrates the martial arts of Aikido, Jiu-jitsu, Tai Chi and Philippine Martial Arts (Kali, Escrima, Arnis).

At Aloha Zen Academy of Martial Arts, they believe in fostering the principles of respect and discipline in a positive learning environment, which is their foundation for martial arts education.  Students can learn life skills through the art of Tang Soo Do training, which in turn, helps to fulfill the development of every aspect of the individual.  The goal at Aloha Zen is to assist with the growth of each person who passes through the academy and help create someone who is free from inner conflict and who can deal with the outside world in a mature, intelligent, forthright and virtuous manner.

They are further dedicated to servicing their students in the development of their martial training and leadership skills. These skills will assist members to not only be successful in protecting themselves and their loved ones, but will also provide a reservoir of strength from which they can draw from in all other aspects of their daily lives.
